When attempting to use Importacular, should you see a message along the lines of "Importacular has been locked down for general use for your security group.  Please speak to a user in one of the following Raiser's Edge security groups who will be able to give you rights: Supervisor" this means that your Raiser's Edge security group in the database view has not been given rights to use Importacular.


You will need someone from your organization who has security rights in Importacular to allow you access to the tasks that you need to be able to accomplish in Importacular. (Note - anyone with Supervisor rights - shown below - in the Raiser's Edge database view has full access to Importacular.)



Importacular does not work with the security settings in the webview of the Raiser's Edge NXT.  If you do not have sufficient rights in Importacular, you will need to check the rights set up in Admin in the database view (also referred to as Raiser's Edge 7).


If a user is in more than one Raiser's Edge 7 security group, there may be conflicts that cause that user to be unable to use sections of Importacular.  Review all appropriate security groups to ensure the user has access to everything that they need.
