Whether importing Recurring Gift (the initial instruction Recurring Gift or the 'Pay-Cash' instalment) collected from GiveCampus, you will need a unique identifier present in the Recurring Gift Instruction and the Recurring Gift pay-cash instalment. This is particularly true is a donor gives more than one recurring gift.
What we recommend is that you create a Gift Attribute for your GiveCampus unique identifier (for example 'GiveCampus Recurring Gift ID') and populate it with the field entitled 'Subscription ID' from GiveCampus. You can do this when you are import in the Recurring Gift instruction or add it directly to the Recurring Gift instruction in RE if you are doing it manually.
Then, when importing in your Recurring Gift instalments (as Recurring Gift Pay-Cash), you setup your Recurring Gift Area setting to match on your new Gift Attribute.
