To help integrate EveryAction with the Raiser's Edge, we recommend that you add the Raiser's Edge ID to EveryAction as well as adding the EveryAction VanID to the Raiser's Edge as a Constituent Alias.
To map the Raiser's Edge ID to the Constituent ID in the Raiser's Edge, you will use the Source field as shown below:
To map the VanID, you will need to start with an Alias mapping. Below, you can see that we have paired this with an Alias type from our sample database of VanID.
Since you may have duplicate records at some point in time, we recommend that you use the Alias Area Settings to not add a new Alias when there is a match and also to match using the Key Name as well as the Alias Type.
Once you have the Alias mapped, you can also add that field so that it can be used to lookup constituents. To do this, you will need to open the Constituent Area Settings and select the option to add a field for Alias Search.
After you've added the search field, you can map the Van ID as shown below.
