When saving a constituent or importing data on to a constituent record (through any of import connected to a constituent e.g. constituent appeals, volunteer assignments, addresses etc), you may get an out of memory exception because of large notepad content.
If a notepad contains content in Rich Text Format (e.g. content from Microsoft Word), then Audit Trail Classic may not be able to track that change because it is too large to store.
In order to prevent notepad content from being tracked you can switch it off in the Viewer:
You will need to be logged in as a supervisor user as otherwise you will not see the options area within Audit Trail Classic. Click on the Z logo as shown below:
The About box will appear. Select the advanced menu button.
Select Options
Check the option "Ignore notepad contents".
This will prevent the error from occurring.
