In Importacular, you can perform several different data transformations on date fields.  You can use a formula to transform a date format into the standard for your instance of Raiser's Edge, you can opt to use the Current date or you can opt to set either the Current Date or the Source Date a specific duration into the future or the past.

When working with formulas to transform the date format, you can either select from the formulas provided or you can opt to create your own.  Below, you can see a screenshot of where you would select a provided formula.

When you need to create your own formula, you can select the "Enter your own format" in the screen above and then type in the formula you need (you will see a preview on the right as you type in the formula). You can find the formats for the formulas on this page of our User Guide.

You can also work with Dynamic Date options (selecting either the Current date or the Source Date).

With this option, you can leave it on that specific day or you can choose to set the date to default to either future or past dates. The screenshot above would allow you to set the date to one day prior or one day after the Current Date.

You can also opt to work with Months or Years (shown below).
