Below is a list of the different Activity Types that are available for the Salsa Engage Data Source (the hyperlinks for each Activity Type will direct you to a video tutorial of that specific type). You can watch an overview video of the Salsa Engage Data Source here.


  • Fundraising One Time Gifts - This activity type imports one time gifts made via a donation page. 
  • Fundraising Recurring Gift Setup - This activity type imports Recurring Gifts (and their corresponding schedules) into the Raiser's Edge. For additional help with importing Recurring Gifts (and their schedules), please see this Knowledgebase article.
  • Fundraising Recurring Gift Payments - This activity type imports recurring gift payments into the Raiser's Edge. When used in conjunction with the Pledge/Recurring Gift payment data destination, it also allows you to link those payments to the respective Recurring Gift. Otherwise, they can be imported as Cash or One-Time gifts. For additional help with Recurring Gift payments, please see this Knowledgebase article.
  • Peer to Peer Events - This activity type imports Registrations and all related data (including donations that were made by the registrant at the time of registration). To link registrations to the Event Module in Raiser's Edge, users will need the Event Participant data destination. Without the Event Participant destination, users can still import the constituents, the ticket purchase (as a gift record) and any additional purchases/donations.  
  • Peer to Peer Donations - This activity type imports donations made via Peer to Peer pages that are not connected to a registration. Tracking Fundraisers as Solicitors requires the Solicitor data destination.
  • Petitions - This activity type imports data connected to Petitions. To link this area to Actions in Raiser's Edge requires the Actions data destination.
  • Targeted Actions - This activity type imports data connected to Targeted Actions. To link this area to Actions in Raiser's Edge requires the Actions data destination.
  • Events - This activity type imports Event data that is NOT Peer to Peer related. To link registrations to the Event Module in Raiser's Edge, users will need the Event Participant data destination.
  • Supporters - This activity type imports ALL Supporter data (regardless of why the record was entered into SalsaEngage). This activity type will allow you to update the data for supporters.
  • Email Blasts - This activity type allows you to add information from Email Blasts such as the email series name, when the email was sent, bounces, unsubscribes, opens and clicks.


All areas include constituent data that relates to the record(s) connected to the activity.  This includes name, contact information, etc.
