If your Data source contains a column for an Opt-Out date, you can use that information to update several different contact preference areas within the Raiser's Edge using Importacular's Field Settings and Data Transformations.
1) Marking the email address as "Do Not Contact" - Link the Source field containing the date to the Do Not Contact row on the Phone Number (Email/Link) mapping.
Using the Field Settings at the end of the row, map the following Data Transformations:
This will mark any phone number/email that HAS an opt out date as "Do Not Contact", but not any with a blank value.
2) Solicit Codes - Add the Source Field for the Solicit Code that you would like to use.
Next, open the Field Settings and limit the field to only be assigned when Opt Out Date is not blank:
3) Consent - Consent mappings are a bit easier when all that you have is the date because you can fill in the date in the date field and use Default fields for everything else. As the date is a key field, the records that do not have an Opt Out will be suppressed and you will only see the Consent mappings for those that have an Opt Out Date. Here is a sample mapping:
