Because Packages function differently than other areas of Raiser's Edge and are linked heavily to Appeals, there are a few additional considerations when importing them using Importacular.

When working with Data Transformations in order to assign Packages (whether on a gift mapping or a constituent appeal mapping), you will need to first assign an Appeal (or create the Data Transformations needed to assign the Appeal).  After you have assigned an Appeal, you can set up a Data Transformation.

Above, you can see a sample screenshot of a Data Transformation for a Package.  One item of importance to note is that, while with other fields (such as Fund, Campaign and Appeal) you are able to select available Raiser's Edge codes directly, you do not have that option for Packages.  When importing Packages using Importacular (whether using Data Transformation or a Default value), you will have to enter the exact text of the Package name into your mapping template via a text field.
