Importacular does not make it easy to overwrite existing values with blanks i.e. remove existing values. This is not normally the desired outcome but could nevertheless be easily achieved if a column is left blank by mistake.
There is a workaround though. By adding at least one space to the field in the file column, the existing data in the field will be overwritten. When it is written back to RE the extra spaces are removed leaving the field blank.
