Sometimes we need to troubleshoot an issue that you have been experiencing. It would be impractical for us to take a copy of your whole database on many levels so the next best thing is for us to recreate your database field settings, code tables, funds, campaigns, appeals and packages.
Built into Importacular is a utility that does just that. It will export the settings from the Configuration Fields area of RE, the Configuration Tables area, the Configuration attributes area as well as the list of funds, campaigns, appeals and packages. The utility does not export any personal information at all. You are able to open the xml file produced in a text reader to see for yourself what is generated.
In Importacular on the main home screen, go to the help menu and select About Importacular
On the Advanced menu button select the option to Export Raiser's Edge Configuration.
Once opened select a location and enter a filename to save to.
The utility will run and the progress bar should show you how far you have come.
